A Genuine European Antique Fruit Pickers Basket.
This basket has been hand woven and it is a fabulous decorative item for you to own!
You can still see some traces of its heritage, with some worn rag material still attached where the fruit pickers would have work this strapped to their backs to pick and then collect fruit.
The aged textures on this basket and the colour tones are phenomenal!! I have a selection of these baskets in a few shapes and size variations and I just know you will absolutely love them!!
These baskets can be used outdoors as beautiful front door décor with olive trees placed in them or perhaps indoors welcoming you in a calm space with a fig tree inside. Faux or real foliage, its up to you but these can even work well stood on their own beside a fireplace to hold kindling too.
Allow them to be your focal feature in any room and you won't be disappointed!
There are signs of wear along with some signs of age but this doesn't ruin the structure nor the look, just has to be noted. Some of the baskets sit a little tilted so a wooden wedge, like a door wedge could be used to prop them in to place a little.
